Our Creative Side
Leaders in the Red Rock area have identified the need for an outdoor performance space that connects people to nature as a key-missing ingredient.
Patterned after the Wolf Trap model for connecting people to nature, the Cordova Center on the Rock project announced in October, 2004 will expose visitors to a variety of cultural opportunities:
dance, music, theatre and film.
In addition, the performing arts amphitheater will provide a venue for camps, internships, combo concerts and festivals.
With both formal and lawn seating, this new facility planned for Cordova Park at Lake Red Rock will provide enrichment for people of all ages.
You can almost feel the grass between your toes and hear the music in the air.
