    Knoxville Raceway, home of the Knoxville Nationals, is nestled in the hills of  Southern Iowa, and is truly the greatest half-mile dirt track in the World. Buoyed by tradition which dates back to the early 1900's, the track has become the mecca for sprint car fans throughout the world. It combines the greatest in sprint car racing with a small town atmosphere which makes each visit an enjoyable experience for young and old alike.

    Known in all corners of the globe as the Sprint Car Capitol of the World, Knoxville Raceway boasts 25,000 seats, 56 luxury suites and a racing surface which is always conducive to fast, side-by-side competition. More than 150 cars from 30 states, Canada, Australia and New Zeeland gather every August to match thier skills in a four-day event wheich has opften been describeed as the "indy of sprint car racing". The winner walks a ways with a $150,000 check and an open door to future opportunities in auto racing.
