Knoxville Fans Get to Meet & Greet Logan Forler
This Saturday from 1 until 3 p.m. outside museum
04-27-2011
Knoxville Raceway fans will get the opportunity to meet up-and-coming sprint car racer Logan Forler of Eatonville, Washington, this Saturday, April 30, from 1 until 3 p.m. in front of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville, weather permitting. Forler, who is in his third year in a sprint car, is currently eleventh in points for the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) National Tour, presented by K&N Filters. Veteran sprint car racing mechanic Troy Renfro from Des Moines is Logan’s crew chief on the Rush Racing winged sprint car.
Said museum executive director Bob Baker today, “The National Sprint Car Museum is making a concerted effort to get more young people involved in our great sport, so we thought this would be a perfect opportunity for Knoxville’s fans to meet a talented seventeen-year-old racer on opening day at the half-mile dirt track. The fact that most of our fans have only read about young Logan, and haven’t seen him race yet, makes it even more special. We have to thank Logan and his dad Steve Forler, long-time museum supporter Troy Renfro, and Shawn Miller of www.insidelinepromotions.com for making this happen. Now all we need is for Mother Nature to cooperate, too.”
Those seeking more information on the National Sprint Car Museum are encouraged to visit www.sprintcarhof.com. Those seeking more information on Logan Forler and his sprint car racing team can visit www.rushracingenterprise.com.
