Lake Red Rock Programs

June 3-5

05-31-2011

There's always something happening at Lake Red Rock!  Check out these great upcoming activities:

Creatures of the Night Hike, Friday, June 3 - 9:00 p.m. at North Overlook Campground (Meet at bike trail junction)

Hike along a woodland trail in search of the night shift.  Look for tracks left behind by the critters of the night and listen for owl calls and other lurking creatures.  It's great fun for the whole family!

Let's Go Paddling!, Sat., June 4 - 5-7 p.m. at Robert's Creek East Boat Ramp* (*location may change due to lake/weather conditions - call Corps office for more information)

Now you have the chance to experience both canoeing and kayaking the same day!  Give one or both types of watercraft a try and see how much fun paddling can be!  (Must be at least 10 years old to use kayaks.  Life jackets will be provided.)

Programs are free of charge and no reservations are needed.  Outdoor activities may be cancelled if raining or there is inclement weather.  For more information, contact the Corps office at (641) 828-7522 or (641) 628-8690.
