The Scholte House, built in 1847, displays the life of Pella's founder.  The 22-rooms are carefully laid out for self-guided tours.  The garden blooms with tulips in spring and annual flowers throughout the summer.  The bronze sculptures celebrate Pella's Dutch immigrants.  The exterior of the home has been recently repainted to its original colors.
