Roberts Creek & Marion Co. Park

The Marion County Conservation Department manages Cordova Park, Roberts Creek Park and Marion County Park in addition to some smaller parks throughout Marion County.  To find out information on re-openings CLICK HERE.  

Reservation System – All facilities that can be reserved (campsites, cabins, pavilion and shelter houses) are back on-line at mycountyparks.com.

Please Use Social Distancing Practices At The Parks

Facilities Open At Marion County Park:

  1. All campgrounds. (10 people or less per campsite)
  2. All campground shower/restroom facilities.
  3. All other park restroom facilities.
  4. Basketball court.
  5. Fishing pier.
  6. Shelter houses (50% capacity or around 35 people)
  7. Baseball/Softball fields.
  8. Trailer dump station.
  9. Boat ramp.

Facilities Closed at Marion County Park:

  1. Playgrounds.  (Open on June 1st)
  2. Marion County Historical Village. (Will not open this year by vote of the Marion County Historical Village Board of Directors)

Facilities Open At Roberts Creek Park:

  1. All campgrounds. (10 people or less per campsite)
  2. All campground shower/restroom facilities.
  3. All other park restroom facilities.
  4. Disc golf course.
  5. All boat ramps.
  6. Trailer dump station.

Facilities Closed at Roberts Creek:

  1. Playgrounds.  (Open on June 1st)

Facilities Open At Cordova:

  1. All cabins.
  2. All other park restroom facilities.
  3. Observation Tower. (10 people or less)
  4. Pavilion. (50% capacity or 200 people)
  5. Boat ramp.
  6. Trails.

Facilities Closed at Cordova

  1. Playgrounds.  (Open on June 1st)              

NOTE:  Campgrounds around Lake Red Rock are managed by three different park agencies:  US Army Corps of Engineers, Iowa Dept. of Natural Resources (Elk Rock) and Marion County Conservation Department (Roberts Creek).  Each agency has different rules and strategies for re-opening.
