Marion County Historical Village

Donations accepted.

The Marion County Historical Village was opened to the public in 1970. The village consists of eight buildings and provides glimpses into the style of living of our ancestors. Where possible, the buildings have been set up as they may have been during the early years of the State of Iowa and Marion County. Some items in the buildings do not strictly adhere to the Marion County History but have been an important part of the life of a resident of Iowa and Marion County.
