Wyatt Earp Day

Pella is known for its Dutch heritage, but it was also home to one of the most infamous figures of the Old West - Wyatt Earp!

Each September, Pella Historical Museums honors the life and times of Wyatt and his family with a fall celebration. Wyatt Earp Day is fun for the whole family where you can enjoy artisans sharing their crafts, tasty treats, old-fashioned music, and more!

SCHEDULE:

  • 12:30-3:30pm: Bluegrass Band Performances

  • 11:30am: "Secret Iowa: Discover Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure Places Across the State" with Author Megan Bannister

  • 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, & 2:30pm: Vermeer Mill Tours

  • 10:00am-3:30pm: Artisans in the Historical Village

  • 10:00am-4:00pm: Tour the Wyatt Earp Experience and Historical Village
